Building Capacity of Community-Based Organizations

CNE provides training, technical assistance, and linkages to sources of support to community and faith-based programs throughout the nation, and has a strong emphasis on their critical need for good financial management. CNE has trained leaders of more than 2,000 grassroots organizations in 39 states since 1981. CNE has leveraged resources for these grassroots organizations at a rate of more than 10 times what it has expended.

Recent workshops have focused on youth violence prevention and intervention programs as well as location specific leadership training in communities across the country.
